Fun in the snow
I know the air quality outside is horrendous, but what's a mom to do? They go crazy inside all day long, not to mention they drive ME crazy when they're inside all day. An hour or two outside won't hurt them, hopefully.

There's not much snow to play in, is there?
Our front yard has a little bit of a slope, about like your picture. It has kept our kids busy for hours! They are getting big enough that they beg me to take them to the park with the big hill, but in a pinch, the front yard does the job.
Oh man,I ust tried to leave a msg but it didnt work! I just saw your post sorry Heidi, I hope I'm not too late. If you have about 4 hours to spare the Auckand Museum is a really fun and inexpensive outing. We went a few onths ago and it was more fun than I realised it'd be. Also if the weather is fine, be sure to go to the beach! We have a million beaches here and most of them are stunning. Be sure to order ome fish and chips for dinner too hehe, its a kiwi traditio. Hope yu have a blast! I'll keep an eye out for a post about your trip.
